Paloma
Within nine years in this world you have become our biggest inspiration and an endless source of influence on our lives, our joy, our challenges, our learning and our being. It’s comforting to know and trust that you are the best teacher to our parenthood. We love you, we follow you, we see you, and we crave to learn more of the beautiful, sassy, energetic, loving and caring human you are.
Thank you for taking us on your journey and showing us your heart and wonders. We look forward to seeing more of the life you create for yourself. We hope you always follow your heart and sense of justice, and always love who you are. Forever surrounded by your loved ones and have fun in all your adventures. Keep your fire burning and your passions as your compass.
Love you our little dove
And to our angel @b_ramona02 who on this day nine years ago performed the most astonishing miracle infront of us and our family for us and our family. Forever we are grateful for “laying this first yellow brick in our yellow brick road”. You are a role model for us, for Paloma and all our girls. We love you

Farewell our Beautiful Pinar Canevi. The world has lost a special human. Will forever cherish your kindness, your curiosity, your intelligent insight and your glamorous style. You gave so much to this world and we’ll celebrate your memory. Thank you. Rest with Power
A full renovation in Finchley, London – with a strong focus on materiality, colour and preserving the character of the space.
The layout allows for two separate seating areas – a more enclosed family room alongside an open, dynamic living space that connects to the rest of the ground floor.
Sliding barn doors make it possible to separate or open up the spaces when needed, adding both function and a strong visual element.
We chose to keep and highlight what was already there – exposing the original brick wall, preserving the ceilings and making the structural steel beam and column part of the design by painting them rather than concealing them.
The colour palette and the clients’ art collection by @nirsegal bring warmth and personality, creating a layered and lived-in space.

Yehudit Reiches and her boyfriend in the Kovno ghetto shortly
before her eighteenth birthday.
Yehudit Reiches was born in Kaunas on March 18, 1926, to
Mordechai and Rachel Reiches. Mordechai worked as an import/exporter, and Rachel was well known as a master dressmaker.
Yehudit studied at the Hebrew Re’al Gymansium. In 1940, following the Soviet take-over of Lithuania, the school’s official language was changed to Yiddish. Yehudit completed eighth grade when the Germans invaded Kaunas in June 1941.
On August 18, three days after the Kovno ghetto was sealed, Mordechai was among the 534 Jews who were rounded-up and murdered during the Intellectuals Action, the first large-scale killing action of the ghetto.
Shortly thereafter, Germans began “property actions” and threatened to kill anyone who had valuables on their person.
Rachel owned a number of gold coins. She had a dream in which Mordechai said to her “What are you doing with the coins? You can kill us all.” Rachel woke up in a fright and began screaming. A neighbor who was passing asked her what was wrong, and Rachel told him of her dream. The neighbor offered to bury her gold with his. Later, once things quieted down in the ghetto, the neighbor returned the gold, and it was later used to save their lives.

100 years ago on this day my beloved and precious late grandmother Yehudit Reiches was born in Lithuania. For the unfortunate of you who never met her, she was quite the character, a fierce, smart, creative, and stubborn human being. For me she was an incredible inspiration with whom I spend precious moments that as years passed have become so influential and constructive to the person I became. She was a learner and a teacher, an artist and craft lady, a chef and a collector, an explorer and photographer. To list few examples; she would take me to the park as a child and teach me how to write my name on a piece of wood engaging the sun with a magnifying glass. She would take me to see exhibitions around all the museums in Israel and would make me sit with a pencil and draw and copy photographs of relatives.
My first ever trip abroad was with her at the age of twelve to Kenya and Seychelles, to replace her partner, my grandfather, who had just broke his hip. Arriving at the beaches of Seychelles I disappeared in a place I thought was heaven, only to put her in hell for trying to grasp the idea that her twelve years old grandson disappeared for few hours on an island.
In these photos you can see pics of my savta dressed up for Purim with different costumes she crafted herself. The first one being Carmen Miranda❤️
Savta Yehudit, thank you for everything you were and for the incredible seeds you planted in this world. Forever missed. Happy century! Nir

16 years we have been exchanging and sharing our cloths. And though the years have had their wear and tear, with this pair of pyjamas the tears are now sewn. And though I couldn’t hide the seams I definitely tied the knot. Happy 9th Anniversary @benezra_segal
