FM Aquatic funk, but not the Drexciyan kind (Frogmen, not Fishmen). I’m still enjoying experimenting on one box each evening for my Jamuary jams, this time back to my cherished Digitone II. I was noodling with the different FM machines to see what kind of bubbling noises I could wrangle out of its metal chassis. Felt to make some tough Electro today… again just a sketch on only the Syntakt. For today’s #jamuary I flipped over to my Syntakt for something a little bit more lively. Hopefully @weareelektron will provide a new update for this wee guy as I’m sure I’m not alone in wanting more machines/effects/LFOs/routing flexibility! I still love it but compared to the new machines that share the same form factor, it certainly comes up lacking. So January rolls around again and while it’s gets pretty cold over here, I get comfort in staying indoors and doing little sketches on my machines. For this years #jamuary I’ve decided to use only one machine per jam, as I love to idea of making music on just one box to squeeze more out.
