Happy new year! Thank you for listening to my music in 2024! Never felt more on the right track ✨🌞✨ I wanna tell you something. For the past couple of many years I’ve been studying to become a teacher and this year I graduated and started working part-time as SFI-teacher. Swedish For Immigrants that is. It’s by far the best thing I’ve done in my life alongside giving birth to my children, making the albums, getting a drivers license and marrying @pontuslevahn . To tell someone from a different part of the world about words like bergochdalbana, hemsökt, nyckelskåp or inga problem is weirdly rewarding in a way I can’t even describe. To meet people that teach ME something new everyday is humbling and meaningful. Every cell in my body love to make music and I will never stop. Quiting music is not what this is about. This new step is the opposite of stopping. I released RELIGIOUS in 2023. I released CHORALS in 2024. I will not release an album in 2025, but I will write. I have a name and a theme for a new album, I know things I wanna ’say’… AND. I’m not sure who needs to hear this, maybe fellow struggling artists? Young, maybe older too? Never stop, but think outside the art box as well. Please. I wish I had earlier on. Artists and craftspeople (the introverted kinds also), are needed in the schools, at the hospitals, at the community centers… work there! It doesn’t change how mysteriously special you are or how important your art is, or how chosen you are to make it. It just might enrich your life and it might set you free. It has for me in many ways and it feels so good. Give peace a chance 2025 - inner- and otherworldly 🦪🪐

CHORALS, my 8th album, is out today! It’s a continuation of RELIGIOUS. An experiment revolving around voice and death, recorded in close collaboration with Anton Sundell and Daniel Fagge Fagerström. Both theme and instrumentation derives directly from church halls and rooms for worship with organs, harps and flutes alongside arpeggios and sequencing synthesizers. Voices are central to the sound - mine, yes - but also the communal and chanting voice of a church assembly, aerial angel choirs, opera, a fat lady that sings in the end and the digitalised and mechanic computerised voice. CHORALS is a collection of work about how voices can meet, past and present, the ones inside and around.
