Flute of Life: Windy Worlds
———
In 2023 I asked Clea and Isak to play a show as a flute duo, they said yes only if I joined the band. Flute of Life was born. After three or four recording sessions and finally had an album with some crude, weird and beautiful flute improv tunes. Streaming everywhere today on Moptaco Dics.
Amazing cover by Alexander Palmestål. (Slide 4 is my idea sketch for the true heads 🤡 )

FEEDBACK SESSION! ❤️
📍 Wallingatan 3A (mitt i city)
📅 11 mars kl. 17:30

Sahara Hotnights: No One Ever Really Changes
———
To cite Rage Against the Machine on their debut album, ”No samples, keyboards or synthesizers used in the making of this recording”, pretty much sums up the ideology me and Martin had making this album. We wanted the guitars to be in full focus, nothing else in the way. The only shortcuts allowed was more distortion. The result being a really delicate and fun mix of big amps turned up to 11 and raw maxed out all in the red line in fuzz.
Prior going to the studio we spent A LOT of time at my place carving out the songs to have them reach their full bloom. These songs contain so many great little things, amazing harmonies and interlocking guitar figures and the demos are so great they probably deserve their own bootleg one day.
(BTW we did use an MPC1000 and a Sherman Filterbank on Falling Off Bridges, but I don’t think that counts.)
