It was such a very long time ago now but Pauline made such a huge impression on me - how could she not? She and John were already legends when we met, and I was all of seven, ably guided as she squeezed my hand on a run across the the concourse of platform 12 at Paddington or sitting across our family dining table in the Cotswolds. What I remember is her kindness, her grace, the twinkle in her eye and an aliveness to the moment that I think we can all aspire to. RIP Pauline, you will be much missed.

Hereās TOUCH (2m 20s). The life of a couple told through the touching of hands. I made this short film in 2014 with no budget and no crew - just me, a dusty camera, two fab actors and an amazing producer @lindsaycfraser who somehow managed to pull everything together with no money but a lot of love. We won the Virgin Media Shorts Grand Prize. Featuring the wonderful @andrewnolanokay and @antoniakinlay
