IN THE HEART OF THE FLOWER CITADEL (TRAILER) Very happy to begin sharing a project myself and @nil00151 have been working on over the last two years! We became friends on a night out in 2024. Two years later (to the day) and we are releasing a piece of work which has pushed and challenged both our practices. The film is the first time my art practice has crossed fully into cinema, and its release arrives with a brand new, fully self hosted nil00.com with a new design to celebrate From the start, I wanted to make a film that embodied the atmosphere and mythology of nil00’s designs rather than just showcasing products. My goal was to immerse the viewer in the world of the brand as interpreted through the lens of my own art practice. I made 10 unique l0ve CDs, each with a 16-page booklet archiving my favourite airbrushed and painted pieces from the few years I made this music. The winged heart constantly appeared as a symbol,, i found many meanings in it, subtly shifted between transcendence, union, codependency. And sometimes i felt like the protagonist of The Blind Owl by Sadegh Hedayat, painting pencil cases with the same design over and over again. SURPRISE GRAND OPENING of my new website. Designed by me + coded from scratch (back end and front end) by @yankscally This is a huge achievement for us and one of many dreams we intend to make come true together. My brother in art, music and life since 2018, I am so proud of us and grateful to have friends like you! I’ve made 10 1/1 DIY l0ve CDs, each with a hand-sewn 16-page booklet that is an archive of winged heart/two dragons in l0ve iterations from when I started cl0thes.
