New set, new post :)
Some impressions of my latest set „deus ex machina“ which give a good insight into the general vibe of the set. Deus ex machina is greek and translates to „god from a machine“ and described the act of making a god appear through a machine in ancient theater. It’s still used today basically describing something or someone appearing out of no where and saving what seamed to be an unsolvable situation.
The set combines gloomy sounds, mechanic elements and hypnotic rhythms that create a special atmosphere that really captivates you. My focus was mainly on the layering playing with 3 faders up for the majority of time and creating a unique sound out of the different tracks rather than playing already outstanding tracks while always sticking to the theme of the set. It’s 141 bpm start to finish. Containing a drive all the way trough that just makes you wanna move.
