𝗙𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝗺𝗶𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝗻 𝗳𝗼𝗿 𝗶𝗻𝘁𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 🫣 Not every “gut feeling” is intuition. Sometimes it’s fear asking you to stay small. . And oh boy, how many times I’ve been there. I get it, this one is a tricky one. But the truth is we’re all born with intuition. 
Most of us lose touch with it at a young age because our nervous system learns to prioritize safety, protection, and survival over authenticity and self-trust. . So instead of listening inward, we learn to listen for approval, rejection, danger, judgment, or who we need to become to feel loved and accepted. . It’s important to slow down and ask yourself: “Am I truly listening to my intuition… or am I avoiding discomfort, vulnerability, or fear?” . 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲𝗱𝗼𝗺 𝘀𝘁𝗮𝗿𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗬𝗢𝗨 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗼𝘃𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿𝘀𝗲𝗹𝗳 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝘆𝗼𝘂𝗿 𝘄𝗼𝗿𝗸. When I learned that, everything shifted. . This one is a tough one, especially in our industry - we live in a world of auditions, competition, and constantly trying to satisfy the people we work for. I’ve been there so many times, tying how I feel about myself to whether I book the job or get the validation. . But at some point, I realized that if I keep waiting for others to approve of me, I’ll always feel a step behind. So I started shifting the question from “Do they approve of me?” to “Do I have my own back?” . That took so much pressure off. It still creeps in, don’t get me wrong - we’re all human and always evolving - but learning to listen to my intuition instead of the outside world really helped calm my nervous system and keep my self-trust high. Our inner child screams - “I made it, I’m worth it.” . But what happens when the job is slowly coming to an end and your nervous system is slowly starting to act out again? The uncertainty, self-doubt, lower self-esteem are all creeping back in. . Artists, remember that what we do is something sacred, something we love so much. Keep it that way. …AND it’s is NOT defying who we are and it is certainly NOT determining our WORTH as humans. External validation and applause are beautiful, and enjoy it, but know that deep down, with or without that you’re a beautiful person deserving everything in your life.
