“Twelve days ago, the 6 year old girl Hind Rajab dialed the emergency line in Gaza and begged to be rescued. Hind was stuck in a car surrounded by Israeli tanks and soldiers. The occupation forces had already killed 5 members of Hind's family inside the car at the time she called.
Today, Hind's body was found. A few metres away, the scorched remains of the ambulance sent to rescue Hind was found, along with the remains of two PRCS medics, Yousuf Al-Zeino and Ahmed Al-Madhoun.
Rest in power, Hind Rajab. Glory to our young martyr, and glory to Yousuf and Ahmed, the brave medics who attempted to save her despite all risks associated with the rescue attempt. In their names and memories, we will carry the Palestinian struggle forward until the hour of liberation.”
