This is a topic that’s been heavily talked about in the BMX community since 2003, and, not just this one from
@nightwolfslc , but
@tystuy as well which we’re both featured in
@square_one_bmx ‘WIDE AWAKE NIGHTMARE’, 😱
-Mikey’s was done at the old
@littledevilbrand warehouse 👹
-and Ty’s was done
@woodwardcamp 🏕️
*Mikey also did one on the side of a hitching post 🪵 during an event, if you’d like to see that it’s down the page a bit. Super gnarly.*
So, the talks been about what this trick actually is. With many people being on this side calling it a backflip or that side calling it another trick, of which it is indeed A 360 DOWNSIDE FASTPLANT!!✅.. ..Sure, it looks like a backflip but when you compare it to the hitching post clips you’ll get a way better angle that shows the downside approach to it. I also always had those in my own bag of tricks, tried them on a wall over a spine and on certain set ups you are very well indeed completely upside down, so it’s fair to think it’s a black flip from that at first. But, that’s why its slowed down and showed twice.. to really break it down for what it is. Tys is definitely a lot more flippy, like a backflip footplant-fastplant with a totally different angle he went at it.🤓
