Before going to the wave pool I was a bit unsure on what board I was going to ride because everyone has a different perspective on equipment for this wave. After my first session on a shorter board with less rocker I decided to just ride my go to @nightmareshapes poly short board which worked amazing. Surfing these waves really felt like I was at a skate park trying to dial my lines each run. Thankful to be working with Kane on trying to develop my version of the “perfect” surfboard.
Blessed with another south swell the last couple days riding my 6’0 @nightmareshapes TK prototype poly. Every board is closer to the “perfect” short board in my mind. Thank you KB 🦍

What a cool experience at the Surf Ranch the past few days. Finding some better rhythm towards the end but it’s definitely a tricky wave to learn. Very thankful for the opportunity to spend some time at such a special place.
