Before @pukkelpop goes full throttle into 2026, I’m taking a moment to look back at the design from last summer. A bold digital take on punk aesthetics where pop energy meets rebellion. Layered collages coming together in a visual language that’s loud and free. Working closely together with our @toykyo team’s motion designer @zeno_toykyo watching this eclectic, loud system breath on socials and huge screens on site. Grateful for the trust, the space to experiment and build something bold for such an iconic festival. Last September @snackbarmartino turned 70. What followed was more than a celebration. Music, food, friends and stories layered on top of each other. Aging like a fine wine paired with cheese-egg-frites, @snackbarmartino turned 70 in 2025. What started in 1955 as a simple sandwich grew into something far bigger than food alone. A place with memory. With rhythm. With a heart that never left. For its 70th anniversary, we shaped the identity and imagined the copywriting. As a child of divorced parents myself, I’m glad to see a positive shift in how separations are portrayed in this game show, even though divorce isn’t easy. Gelukkig Gescheiden is beautiful, heartwarming television. Happy to have been part of designing the logo & visual identity capturing the balance between nostalgia and freshness. A @vrt1be game show, hosted by @stevenvanherreweghe brings ex-partners together in a fun and heartfelt competition, along with their new partners and children.
