A special collection of landscape works that have been brought together to compliment the ‘Blue Grass, Green Skies’ traveling exhibition put together by the Los Angeles County Musuem of Art (LACMA).
The creatives featured in ‘Strange Pathways’ come from around the globe and each present their unique take on the long respected practive of landscape painting through their lens.

🎨 Tra rovine e allucinazioni.
L’universo di Nicola Caredda svela i resti di un’umanità dissolta e la bellezza del collasso.
I suoi dipinti, costruiti con la precisione di un miniaturista e l’immaginario stratificato del Pop Surrealismo, ci restituiscono scenari post-umani, luoghi disabitati in cui la natura riconquista i suoi spazi tra rovine industriali e feticci della società dei consumi. Ogni opera è una finestra aperta su un universo parallelo, dove il visibile e l’invisibile convivono in un equilibrio precario.
Caredda dipinge paesaggi visionari, figli di una coscienza espansa che evocano l’incanto ipnotico di un sogno appena sfumato: un limbo tra fisico e metafisico. In queste immagini simboliche, la luce scolpisce con nitore realistico oggetti e architetture mentre un linguaggio pittorico inquietante e seducente trasforma la paura in un’evocazione potente e suggestiva.
La sua pittura è un dispositivo immaginifico che innesca scenari alternativi. I dipinti non illustrano mondi lontani: li evocano. Sono tracce di un tempo che forse non è ancora arrivato ma che già si manifesta davanti ai nostri occhi.
📌 Nicola Caredda (Cagliari, 1981) è parte della famiglia di artiste e artisti della Fondazione THE BANK ETS – Istituto per gli Studi sulla Pittura Contemporanea.
