The ATQ series was created as an outlet for DJs to play the music they feel represents their creativity and craft to the fullest. What started as a monthly event at @hellogoodbyebar evolved into a music series showcasing talented DJs from Vancouver and across the country. With that said, the goal was always to scale up to doing Pop Up events and on Saturday May 30th, from 6pm-10pm we’re back for round 2 of the ATQ pop up film session. The filming of this showcase will take place at @bigbabyistheplace at 1101 union street in Vancouver These Pop Ups are more than just an evening out to with friends. Each one is intentionally curated to elevate the customer experience and offer a different lens into how we consume music. New venues, different DJs, one evening of memories, connection and energy. These film sessions are tailored to those who want to network and enjoy the curation of sound by some of our friends. @thehoussparty appreciation post 🏡🫶🏽 Back in April, I was fortunate enough to connect with @semajira to build something special on Saturdays at @mountpleasantvintage — a space where people could come dance every weekend, hear unique sounds mixed with classics, and experience a vibe we felt the city was missing — something that couldn't be replicated in a traditional club, something that felt like how house parties used to feel back in the day... He said to me: "Lets lock in for the entire summer" Fast forward 4 months, and words can’t express how grateful I am for how much it's grown. Every Saturday I was lucky enough to share the decks with new friends/DJs, each bringing their own unique sound and vibe to the night. DJing is always fun, but it's even better when you get to spin with others.
