Give your ears something worth listening to with local favorite DJ Nick at Nite!
Itās guaranteed to be a party from start to finish once the needle drops on that tasty wax. As a record collector, musician and of course DJ, Nick knows exactly what great music sounds like and at Trip Out he will let the records do all the talking.

here today to talk about one of my favorite 45s from the collection š£
some information about the band from Diana Aguirre, via YouTube:
āThe origins of Los Soul Masters remain somewhat obscure; they formed in the late 1960s and have as a precursor an album of Blood, Sweat & Tears covers recorded circa 1969. Furthermore, it is known that they shared the stage with the legendary Kaleidoscope at a nightclub called āSalvation.ā In 1971, they recorded an LP dedicated to the AvĆ”ndaro Festivalāwhere they had performed the day before the festival officially began (September 10th). This album is titled *Los Soul Masters en AvĆ”ndaro, Valle de Bravo*; however, as was the case with other bands of the era, the group vanished from the Mexican rock scene shortly after the LPās releaseā
Los Soul Masters members:
Guillermo Mujica (Vocals)
Sandino Contreras (Guitar)
Jose Ramirez (Bass)
Rumberto Giron (Drums)
Ricardo Contreras (1st Trumpet)
Jose Arias (2nd Trumpet)
Raymundo Arellano (3rd Trumpet)
Gregorio Maldonado (Tenor Sax)
Rafael Maldonado (Baritone Sax)
