here today to talk about one of my favorite 45s from the collection 💣 some information about the band from Diana Aguirre, via YouTube: “The origins of Los Soul Masters remain somewhat obscure; they formed in the late 1960s and have as a precursor an album of Blood, Sweat & Tears covers recorded circa 1969. Furthermore, it is known that they shared the stage with the legendary Kaleidoscope at a nightclub called “Salvation.” In 1971, they recorded an LP dedicated to the Avándaro Festival—where they had performed the day before the festival officially began (September 10th).
