Jazz Fest #1 It’s taken over a week to recover but what a time! 😻🔥 New Orleans, you’re one of a kind. There’s nowhere on Earth like it and that’s what makes it so special. The music, the food, the people… it’s a crazy, beautiful and life affirming city and my absolute home from home 😎 Had the most brilliant time catching up with old friends, making new ones and sitting in with some of the best musicians on the planet. 16 years and counting. **A Slice of Filth** After an extended jaunt to Heaven (New Orleans) we’re back with Round Seven! 😻 It’s been a distracting few weeks what with our @thefilthysix Spring tour and a glorious couple of weeks over in New Orleans for Jazz Fest, but it’s time to get this @asliceoffilth party back in full swing! 🎉💃🏾💅🏻 With that, there ain’t no party like a N’awlins party so we’re heading straight back to the crescent city for a trip ‘Down Frenchmen Street’ and our homage to that wonderful strip of chaos off our second album ‘The Fox’, released on @acidjazzrecords Original Filthy guitar man Jerry “the Hair” Haglund is at the helm for this one with his Southern picking style laying it down hard at @ol_elegante_studio , Alabama, for another take from our @theaudiovore ’s Spectra Sonic Sound Session back in October’14. What a time we had at the incredible @zermattunplugged festival last week 😻 Such a beautiful place and the whole vibe of the festival was just amazing. We had an absolute ball on the shows and was great fun running across town to sit in on the @officialronnies jam afterward, catching up with our @ronniescottsallstars and @soulfamstagram pals at #Ronnies2! 😎 We even managed to squeeze in a couple of days skiing as well. A brilliant week that’ll take some beating! 👌🔥❤️ Thanks to everyone at the festival for looking after us like Kings, and to everyone who came down for a boogie. Let’s do it again sometime 😇😘

Sad to say, due to visa issues I will be unable to perform at Jazz Fest next week ☹️ Gutted as I was looking forward to playing these great shows alongside some amazing musicians and good friends but this time will have to be enjoyed from the audience 🙏 These shows are all still going on so please head down and check them out and I’ll join you in support on the dance floor 😎 Big love to all and see you for a po boy v soon!
