🌳🏔️Put out an album today with @forestline____ !🎸 🏔️forestline is a band of friends I've had since college. Our paths crossed in all kinds of music groups as our lives traversed from the east coast to Syracuse and then LA, where we made this group. We've since spread out across the world yet again, but they will always be some of my favorite musicians to play with. 🌹 today we put out "thorns" - an album of songs we made as we navigated the pamdemic, and the life changes that would follow. DO IT FOR LA 🎺😤⚽️ Last night was UNREAL, I still can’t believe what just happened 🎺😎 —— When I decided to move away from Syracuse to LA in 2017, the first neighborhood I settled down in was Expo Park. I thought it was amazing - it was in the heart of LA, it was a beautiful blend of so many cultures, and I just felt excited to be there. It was where I got my first chance to grow into being an adult after school, and I am so happy that was where that happened. —— Every week I’d run past @bancofcaliforniastadium being built, and know @lafc and something EPIC were coming. I could envision the fans and the team and the gameday atmosphere, and I KNEW that I had to be a part of it. Once the inaugural season was underway, I couldn’t believe what had opened up around the corner. So I’ve literally been a fan from the Ground. UP. ⚽️ —— Back to last night - getting to play @djflict ‘s incredible anthem alongside the legendary @lafc3252 at kickoff - that was a DREAM COME TRUE, and now you know why. This neighborhood and this stadium and this team have always felt like home to me, and I’m so grateful to the best fans and club in the @mls for the opportunity to rep the black and gold. 100 @lafc caps in the books! 💯🎺⚽️ In Spring 2022, @richorosco and @djflict let me play the new Do It For LA anthem live at an LAFC game. Four years later almost to the day, and we knocked out the 100th matchday war cry. Season 5 of sounding the @lafc trumpet is underway and going STRONG 🎺😎🏴⚽️ #DoItForLA - Almost ten years ago, I used to spend mornings running past the @lacoliseum and an under construction @bmostadium . Just doing that made me feel like I had made it - I never imagined I'd get to play #trumpet at both stadiums for a fanbase and team I am so passionate for. I'm so grateful for all the #blackandgold fans and staff and friends who have allowed me to do my thing. Bringing my all for you every time I can is a true highlight of my life, every time.
