i wrote “hostage” with callie in early october 2022. walked into my friend’s house & she just happened to be sitting on the couch. had been a heavy day for both of us, and as we sat in the living room catching up & processing things together, this song kinda just wrote itself. we recorded it the next day & has sat on my macbook ever since. its technically been on my soundcloud since then, but only the OG fans have known ab it 🫶
