“See you soon” is a fleeting encounter between artists from New York, Vienna, and Berlin, staged across only three days. Some have met through mutual friends, some have shown together, and some may never cross paths again amid the constant flux of these three art capitals. The exhibition thus becomes a site of brief encounter for them, offering quiet reflections on distance and longing: experiences of being absorbed by an unreachable love, memories of the departed manifested through temporary objects, recipes for dreams of faraway places. Nostalgia grows stronger with distance and separation, building to a moment of overwhelming yearning. It consumes both its subject and object, reaching across great divides, undoing its bearers with equal intensity.
