It was an honor to produce and co write this album! As some of u know I’ve been producing for a hot minute and while I’ve dipped my toes in many genres my heart has always been with that classic pop sound - I grew up worshipping Prince, Janet, MJ. With this I was able to dive into classic pop music with the addition of the wild percussion and electronic elements I love making. You can even hear the same drum beat from the first tape I ever owned at age 5 - “WHOOP THERE IT IS”

After a chance meeting through Legendary artist Grimes, the two remained friends and frequent collaborators; most recently remixing DJ PHATS’ JUKE SHAWTY. With WE GOT U they wanted to pay homage to the Windy City and legends such as Deeon, Gant-Man, DJ FUNK and so many more.
