Our Bar Manager, Scott, has recently come back from the world-renowned École hôtelière de Lausanne in Switzerland where he took part in the ‘Art of Leadership’ programme with @hitscotland joining fellow hospitality professionals from across the globe.
Between leadership workshops, networking with industry peers, and taking in the stunning surroundings, it’s safe to say the trip was one to remember. And after returning home to glorious Highlands, we couldn’t resist sharing a few snapshots from his trip.

One of our favourite moments each spring is a gentle walk along the riverbank, where the cherry blossoms come quietly into bloom 🌸
Lasting only a few short weeks, their beauty feels all the more special, the kind that makes you slow down and simply take it all in.
You’ll find them scattered throughout the city, along the banks of the River Ness, and tucked away in unexpected corners across Inverness, waiting to be discovered.
Our top team of green volunteers were out in force along the riverside on a litter pick, and we couldn’t have asked for better weather for it! ☀️
It was great to chat with locals and those enjoying the sunny weather in Inverness along the route. We are proud to be advocates for sustainability and this is a very small way we can contribute to the destination, community and planet.
If you’ve visited before, you’ll no doubt recognise the scenic route across to the Ness Islands, a peaceful stroll loved by both locals and visitors, offering beautiful views of the River Ness and a chance to pause and enjoy the city’s natural beauty.
