You might've seen that our SVQ Retail students took over a charity shop on George Street recently - and what a success it was! Through their hard work, teamwork, and dedication, they raised an incredible Β£1,250 in just five days, which will be donated to Middlefield Community Hub π
This has been a fantastic real-life learning experience for our students, helping them build confidence and develop valuable retail skills. A huge thank you to everyone who came along to support the RecyCol shop and to our students in the Learning Opportunities department - your support made all the difference!
Missed it? We have a permanent charity shop at our Aberdeen City Campus! Come visit β¬οΈ

At NESCol, we're showing racism the red card π₯ We've come together with colleges across Scotland to support 30 years of the UK's leading anti-racism educational charity, @showracismtheredcard
The campaign highlights Scotland's colleges' shared commitment to tackling racism and promoting inclusion across further education.
If you see racism on any NESCol campus or if you're a student/colleague experiencing harassment online, report it via our dedicated Report+Support service π link in bio.

When a group of Kemnay Academy S2 pupils had the vision of a game that helps users learn sign language, NESCol Games Design students helped bring that vision to life in a real, playable VR game π€―
βLife with Signβ uses real sign language hand gestures to cast spells that summon different elements.
One year later, we're still immensely impressed at the innovation on display by both Kemnay pupils and NESCol students, which is why we're highlighting it as part of #DeafAwarenessWeek βοΈ
