As RISD Apparel Design seniors develop their thesis collections, they engage in various synesthetic design methodologies to expand their skills in design iteration. One important project within this trajectory is the collaboration with world-renowned fragrance manufacturer IFF @artofperfumeryatiff .
The partnership engages the olfactory aspect of the student narratives, inspiring designers to translate their ideas into a sensory fragrance proposal and video.
The 12 senior collections will be showcased in full at our annual Collection 2026 runway show on May 27th, 2026, at the WaterFire Arts Center @waterfireartscenter in Providence, RI.
