Why Internships Matter:
Years ago, when I was starting out in the makeup industry, I had a passion for the art but couldn’t afford formal makeup courses. Internships gave me the opportunity to learn and grow. I had the chance to work under @theurbanvanity for over a year, and that experience significantly improved my skills.
During my internship, I learned invaluable skills, such as people skills (which I used to struggle with), time management, and the technical aspects of makeup artistry. These lessons have stayed with me and continue to shape my career today.

Over time, I’ve learned not to chase after anything desperately. I still desire things, work hard, and put in my effort but longing for something as if my life depended on it? I’ve given that up.
I’ve come to see that everything I truly need will be provided by God at the right time. So I remain still in each season of life, taking one day at a time, doing my part with the gifts He has given me.
God can, he wants to, and that’s my confidence.

Minutes before the first “I do,” I sat still in quiet confidence despite all the stories I’d heard about pre-wedding doubts. I was about to spend the rest of my life with someone who, just four years earlier, had been a stranger.
The night before, I searched my heart for even a flicker of uncertainty and I found none. I was absolutely sure that this was God’s will, His perfect plan. The man I was marrying is His son, in whom He was well pleased.
That was all the assurance I needed. My confidence wasn’t just in his character, but in the foundation we both shared. Knowing he loved the Lord with all his heart and the deep sense that this was part of a larger plan.
Now “forever” is no longer a word we say, but a life we live together.
