AD | We have a few summer holidays coming and so Iām prepping early and I let Zizi pick out our outfits from @nextofficial and he went all bright and colourful which I absolutely adore š„¹
I think childhood should be filled with joy and colour and experimenting so what better way to do that than with self expression through clothes. Trendy and so cute!
How did he do guys?
Okay last dump from our weekend in the Cotswolds⦠with no trending sound š„°š„¹ so itās like you were there with me because a time was truly had.
Ft the most beautiful backdrop @themanor_house . If you ever visit the Cotswolds, this hotel is fabulous š
Because apparently itās never too late āŗļø so Iām learning.
Badmington Horse Trials šš¾šš¾ Iām so inspired by the women who are incredible athletes like @pippafunnell.official@ros_canter_eventing (congratulations!).
Thank you for having me @bloxhampr@destinyjoelivia
What a sport šš¾
I heard this quote yesterday and honestly I havenāt been able to stop thinking about it. It said āthe greatest tragedy is being really successful at everything that doesnāt matterā
WOW, Iām re-evaluating my whole life now. Not because I donāt think what Iām currently doing in many areas of my life doesnāt matter but rather Iām evaluating to MAKE SURE Iām doing more of not only what matters but most importantly what matters for eternity.
Going back to work after maternity leave has been so much more emotional for me this time around than the first time. Iām grateful for it all though āŗļø
The perfect dress for my Sunday errands @phaseeight .
Supporting our local farmers is so important to me so we get our eggs, raw milk, produce from them as much as possible.
Also this dress literally feels like butter on my skin and because itās mostly cotton, it didnāt feel too hot on a warm spring Sunday š
(Dress is pr - gifted, I have no obligation to post)
I promised a part 2 - this is what I personally do, to have screen free parenting as much as possible.
1. Predictable routine were you can recognise gaps and patterns of screen time and fill it.
2. Do life TOGETHER, not separate. Itās going to take longer of course but you have to choose. and what a blessing that we get to do life in tandem with our precious littles.
Next week Iāll share my last 2 practical ways I do screenfree parenting that applies the above.

Whether youāre building a business or sending money to family abroad. The process doesnāt have to feel stressful, expensive, and slow.
With @mukurudotcom thereās no fees. Itās Simple and reliable and ive used it for YEARS for this reason.
Iād actually love to know in the comments below, what is your heritage? Iāll go first šš¾āāļø
Iām consider myself equally British and Zimbabwean. Born and raised to a young age in Zim and have lived majority of my life in the UK. both places are home š¤
lol I wish this was actually a flex, but truthfully⦠Iād be quite happy just being at home with my children all day š someone (@nuetey.ayeh ), retire me!
On a serious note, Iāve recently returned to work part-time after maternity leave & the other day, I was at home in the kitchen making lunch. The golden spring sun spilled through the windows, the children were outside playing wonderfully, and I had classical music softly in the background.
And I canāt even describe to you how I felt but I remember thinking, THIS is where Iām meant to be. Caring for my home, my family⦠it felt full in a way thatās hard to put into words.
A few days later, I came across a quote about purpose, that the things which quietly light you up are often the ones worth paying attention to. What sets your SOUL on fire?!
Now whilst I do love medicine as a whole. The actual job in these early training years, it doesnāt quite feel like that yet. So Iām learning to shape my path within it.
Because the part of medicine that does light something in me is solving real medical issues using nature, lifestyle, looking at the whole person. Thatās the direction I find myself drawn toward now, as I āget back to businessā lol Iām excited to explore that.
AD, I stay putting my mum @lifestylegogo on! so I had to tell her about @mukurudotcom , thereās no fees when you send to Zimbabwe to a Mukuru Wallet from the U.K. Itās Simple and reliable and ive used it for YEARS for this reason.
