AD | We have a few summer holidays coming and so I’m prepping early and I let Zizi pick out our outfits from @nextofficial and he went all bright and colourful which I absolutely adore 🄹 I think childhood should be filled with joy and colour and experimenting so what better way to do that than with self expression through clothes. Trendy and so cute! How did he do guys?

I heard this quote yesterday and honestly I haven’t been able to stop thinking about it. It said ā€œthe greatest tragedy is being really successful at everything that doesn’t matterā€ WOW, I’m re-evaluating my whole life now. Not because I don’t think what I’m currently doing in many areas of my life doesn’t matter but rather I’m evaluating to MAKE SURE I’m doing more of not only what matters but most importantly what matters for eternity.

Going back to work after maternity leave has been so much more emotional for me this time around than the first time. I’m grateful for it all though ā˜ŗļø

The perfect dress for my Sunday errands @phaseeight . Supporting our local farmers is so important to me so we get our eggs, raw milk, produce from them as much as possible. Also this dress literally feels like butter on my skin and because it’s mostly cotton, it didn’t feel too hot on a warm spring Sunday šŸ˜ (Dress is pr - gifted, I have no obligation to post)

I promised a part 2 - this is what I personally do, to have screen free parenting as much as possible. 1. Predictable routine were you can recognise gaps and patterns of screen time and fill it. 2. Do life TOGETHER, not separate. It’s going to take longer of course but you have to choose. and what a blessing that we get to do life in tandem with our precious littles. Next week I’ll share my last 2 practical ways I do screenfree parenting that applies the above. #screenfreekids #screenfreeactivities #intentionalliving #homemaking

Whether you’re building a business or sending money to family abroad. The process doesn’t have to feel stressful, expensive, and slow. With @mukurudotcom there’s no fees. It’s Simple and reliable and ive used it for YEARS for this reason. I’d actually love to know in the comments below, what is your heritage? I’ll go first šŸ™‹šŸ¾ā€ā™€ļø I’m consider myself equally British and Zimbabwean. Born and raised to a young age in Zim and have lived majority of my life in the UK. both places are home šŸ¤Ž

lol I wish this was actually a flex, but truthfully… I’d be quite happy just being at home with my children all day šŸ˜‚ someone (@nuetey.ayeh ), retire me! On a serious note, I’ve recently returned to work part-time after maternity leave & the other day, I was at home in the kitchen making lunch. The golden spring sun spilled through the windows, the children were outside playing wonderfully, and I had classical music softly in the background. And I can’t even describe to you how I felt but I remember thinking, THIS is where I’m meant to be. Caring for my home, my family… it felt full in a way that’s hard to put into words. A few days later, I came across a quote about purpose, that the things which quietly light you up are often the ones worth paying attention to. What sets your SOUL on fire?! Now whilst I do love medicine as a whole. The actual job in these early training years, it doesn’t quite feel like that yet. So I’m learning to shape my path within it. Because the part of medicine that does light something in me is solving real medical issues using nature, lifestyle, looking at the whole person. That’s the direction I find myself drawn toward now, as I ā€œget back to businessā€ lol I’m excited to explore that.
