Yes, I disappeared for a bit. Family emergency. And there is lore 😐.
But I’m back at work, in real clothes, doing most of the things I normally do …and my camera roll would be impossible to explain in one post.
So in no particular order, because matching pictures to captions = time consumption:
1️⃣I ordered the full lineup of the new Silk Dip blushes and Lip Butters from
@beautypie because if I’m going back in, I’m going back in fully colour-matched.
🥈Became obsessed with these glittery strappy Gracie sandals from
@fitflop after being forced to attend something requiring a dress. They are also very nice on a sunny evening with light coloured denim. Or those collectable baggy trousers from cos (you know the ones) and a scoop neck, thin stretchy t shirt.
3️⃣Re-entered my annual Spring beauty detox phase. Greek yogurt, Protein-tastic, Chollagen, frozen bananas and strawberries, oat milk, creatine. A smoothie overachiever for those of us who want protein, fibre, a tighter jawline, microbiome support, calcium, and potassium AND the illusion of having their nutrition together before 9am. 🙋♀️

5️⃣Did a photoshoot about european founders for
@baldertoncapital , which required an entire professional team (being good sports in my boyband photo op, here) to transform me from someone who got to the office at 7am to avoid the tube strike and by noon kinda needed a nap, to a person who has the mild vibe of world domination (apparently this motivates others, so.. OK) 💪
6️⃣Fell in LOVE with the eponymous body cream. Also scored 6 of the Orris Florentina (glass jar edition b/c there was a double ‘deal’ on them for BP members. May still be. Hurry!)
🕖Was tempted by friendly donuts. Mostly survived. Mostly.
🎱Wore
@fitflop ballerinas everywhere and received approx 47 compliments/day which vindicates the vision I had in 2007 for beautiful shoes and arch support being a gap in the market
9️⃣And finally, my son’s new dog: Meep (aka Diesel). There’s a backstory there. One for another time.
