✨ Filmmaker @neillyboyle recently took over the @screenscots Instagram during his visit to @festivaldecannes , where his short film, Life's a Beach, screened in the Short Film Corner.
🌊 The film follows an estranged family who take a holiday to the seaside town where they used to live. Set in Ayr, the short feature stars John McQuiston, Stephen Kerr, Kirsty Strain and Kayla Caldwell.
📽️ Life's a Beach was created as part of the Screen Scotland-sponsored @48scotland Hour Film Project. Filmmakers draw a genre out a hat and then have 48 hours to write, shoot, and edit a completed short film by the end of the 48 hours.
