A big thank you to @brownberetorganization_az for having me this past Friday at The Congress at an event with such a meaningful and relevant cause which was in benefit to @the_florenceproject who provide free legal and social services to detained immigrants facing deportation. The community showed up and the energy was felt, the artists were amazing! It was a great show but most importantly, the work they do is crucial to try to ensure detainees’ human rights are respected which far too often are not so it’s still an ongoing struggle.
