Issue 50 is out + it’s action packed.
In this issue, Chef Elliott Vogel @chef_elliott1 returns to the spotlight as Panza’s @panzasrestaurant celebrates their 88th anniversary this Fri. May 15. Chef Noah Frese @noahfrese51 dispatches his right hand man, chef Dylan Burkhart @chefdylanburkhart , to lead @thewildhorsesaratoga in its re-launch as a tapas bar. We check out the soft opening of @station.six_ in downtown Albany, and head to Kingston to hang with @eliza.bistro chef de cuisine, Pruitt Kerdchoochuen @needsmorebutter whose Thaiglish flavors color the menu. Plus, for World Cocktail Day, @sethjonesphotos introduces us to sherry + tequila in the Martini Ramiro.

*this event was rescheduled after some bad winter weather. Now that it’s spring, let’s show some love to a local farmer doing the work! 💪🏼

Vernalization ~ the process by which plants achieve the ability to flower through exposure to periods of cold. It is in the quiet at the heart of winter that we remember how to bloom.
2025 was a year of seismic shifts. It was a year of grief, and loss, and change. It was also a year of joy and connectedness. Last year gave me a chance to try on so many versions of myself, and I'm stepping into 2026 the most embodied I've ever been. A huge part of learning how to stand tall in my own light, though, is learning how to better nurture the vast underground network of tangled roots that connect me to all the other trees in my grove... because we cannot thrive without one another. Here's to a year of deepening our connections and growing our forest together. ~ xoxo 💖.
