3 days before WW II ended, Daniel Hartlaub´s uncle, Felix Hartlaub (@felix.hartlaub.1913 ), a draughtsman and writer, boarded a train and disappeared, leaving behind a short life full of mysteries and unanswered questions. The music video THE FELIX SONG is a first musical and visual impression of the feature film project VANISHED. THE CURIOUS LIFE AND DEATH OF FELIX HARTLAUB, Daniel Hartlaub and Keith Rodway are currently working on. The music video is also published on @berlinhistoryapp where Felix´life in Berlin can be retraced with audio readings of his writings (speaker: Bernhard Schir), photos, and info texts. Tonight sees the opening of an exhibition in the Landing Gallery at Electro Studios, Seaside Road, St Leonards of a series of drawings made by people living with dementia. Drawing Life () takes art classes into homes caring for people living with dementia. We provide access to the arts and a place for social interaction. All of the drawings are for sale and any funds raised will be used to further expand our activities. The show runs from 6-9 tonight, and over the weekend from 12-5, closing on Sunday evening.
