My second exhibition, ‘Colors of the Durbar’, curated by @earthquakescopes and assisted by @iklimababangida & @withlovemairo .
This photograph is quite close to my heart, so it was such a pleasure to see it on display. Limited editions available now! 🫶🏾

Side note: I like how the details in this portrait do not escape notice. Everything here is just as apparent—and relevant—as every other thing. The patterns on the fabric. The dragonfly. The double spiral (Boma is fascinated by sacred geometry). This is what you get when you photograph your work on an iPhone. Paying more attention to contrast in future works.
Save the date for “Colors of the Durbar” — a one-day photography exhibition capturing the richness, vibrance, and timeless stories of the durbar.
Join us not just for the exhibition, but also for a special panel discussion featuring engaging conversations and deeper insights behind the work. Step into a world where culture, color, and tradition come alive through photography.
In Partnership with Sparklab Creativity and Innovation Hub, Zaure.com, Federal ministry of art, culture, tourism and creative economy, Cavemen Africa, 229consulting, and creative corner.
