Throwback to The Cost of Time to Repair — a collaborative project created 3 years ago as part of @ollee_means ' graduation thesis at Design Academy Eindhoven.
I had the chance to create a series of visualisations and graphic illustrations that became part of both the printed thesis and an accompanying physical installation, presented at @dutchdesignweek 2022.
The work was developed together with @pdoringer who co-conceptualised and designed the thesis format.

Tom, Cuttlefish, and the Bombs.
I was asked by @zeit to create visualizations for an article in their student magazine @zeit_campus . The piece covers WWII bombs and munitions still lying on the floors of the North and Baltic Seas, poisoning fish populations and surrounding marine ecosystems. Two scientists are working with a robot to retrieve these bombs, but it’s a race against time.
Not the lightest of topics, but such a fascinating project—especially with a fantastic schematic by @nd_chn , showing the robot in action as it retrieves the bombs.
