New Competition Alert! π
This year at the 2026 N.C. State Fair, we will have the "Agricultural Products Art Display," a new competition in our Vegetables, Fruits and Nuts department. The theme will be to develop a Barn Quilt design!
For this competition, exhibitors will be provided with a 3"x3" display box where they will create an artistic display according to a Barn Quilt theme/design solely using agricultural products (fruits, vegetables, nuts, grains, seeds, fibers, etc.). All items used must have been produced in North Carolina. At least 80% of the display must include items produced by the exhibitor. Up to 20% of the display may include items that were not produced by the exhibitor.
More details will be available in the 2026 Premium Book that will be published later this summer. Stay tuned! #NCStateFair
