It’s hard to believe NCECA wrapped up this morning, but we are so thankful for each and every one of you who participated in this year’s NCECA Cup Exhibition and Sale as donors and collectors! Thanks to your generosity we sold $64,015 worth of cups for scholarships— a new record! 🥳🎉
In addition to growing the scholarship fund, our jurors (Bruce Dehnert, Marty Fielding, and Hitomi Shibata) chose three Cups of Merit winners who will be commissioned to make cups for the NCECA collection. Congratulations to Austin Geithner, Jordan Blankenship, and Sam McCall for being selected from the 1,543 pieces we received.
We hope everyone had a great time in Richmond, VA and are looking forward to seeing you in Salt Lake City, Utah next year!! Until then, happy potting!

Congratulations to this years Cups of Merit award recipients! Leslie Bevan, Hirotake Imanishi, and Sean Vandenbrink were selected by our jurors from 1,307 cups donated this week. This year was a record setting year for scholarship fundraising with $52,588 raised by all of you! We can’t wait to see you all next year in Richmond, Virginia.
