A royal start to the 74th Canadian Tulip Festival ✨🌷
We were honoured to welcome Her Royal Highness Princess Margriet and her husband, Professor Pieter van Vollenhoven, to the opening ceremony of the Canadian Tulip Festival at Commissioners Park.
They were joined by our CEO, Tobi Nussbaum, in planting a ceremonial Sugar Maple tree beside the Queen Juliana Gift Bed, which features the bulbs donated by the Netherlands.
This new tree will commemorate this historic visit and be another symbol of the lasting friendship between Canada and the Netherlands.

Nous avons eu l’honneur d’accueillir Son Altesse Royale la princesse Margriet et son mari, le professeur Pieter van Vollenhoven, à la cérémonie d’ouverture du Festival canadien des tulipes au parc des Commissaires.
Ils étaient accompagnés de notre premier dirigeant, Tobi Nussbaum, pour planter un érable à sucre de cérémonie aux côtés du parterre de la reconnaissance de la reine Juliana, où sont plantés les bulbes de tulipes reçus en cadeau des Pays-Bas.
Ce nouvel arbre commémorera cette visite historique et sera un autre symbole de l’amitié durable entre le Canada et les Pays-Bas.
