Two days of amazing speakers and with more than 65 company executives, directors and key people from many Spanish-speaking countries in the region attending. The final piece of the puzzle. As you know, ZEISS CinCraft Scenario comprises three major hardware components, and the last of the three is CinCraft Link.
CinCraft Link is an optional unit that can be placed on the camera and forwards the CamBar data to Origin via a standard Ethernet cable. This minimizes the tracking equipment footprint on the film camera. CinCraft Link is silent and has only minimal power requirements, making it easy to rig on any type of camera setup. In addition, it allows for access to the CinCraft Scenario UI from mobile devices in the vicinity of the camera.

Let’s jump back into ZEISS CinCraft Scenario! Today we will look at the next item of hardware components: CinCraft Origin.
Origin runs the Scenario software where all the tracking occurs. It also runs the Wrangler tracking recorder and stores all recorded tracking data. Origin can be mounted directly on the camera or set up remotely when combined with CinCraft Link. It streams tracking data in real time to Unreal or any other standard 3D rendering system such as Disguise, Pixotope, VizRT, etc.

Introduced just last week, ZEISS CinCraft Scenario is the latest addition to the CinCraft ecosystem. The camera tracking system is composed of a combination of hardware and software. Today, we will be having a closer look at the first of the hardware components: CinCraft CamBar.
This small and lightweight stereo camera sensor looks out into the environment for “features” to track. Features can be naturally occurring or specially placed reflective markers. Its built-in IR emitter allows for optimum reflective marker tracking and it also includes “sync” capability to allow for tracking “hidden” markers on LED walls. Industry standard mounting points round out the whole package and make it easy to rig and set up.
