Pada tahun 1970, Jean-Luc Godard dan Anne-Marie Miéville pergi ke Yordania untuk merekam cuplikan militan Palestina yang awalnya ditujukan sebagai film pro-Palestina bagi Organisasi Pembebasan Palestina (PLO). Tak lama kemudian, para militan tersebut gugur dalam perang saudara Yordania dan proyek tersebut ditinggalkan. Empat tahun kemudian, kedua pembuat film tersebut meninjau kembali cuplikan tersebut dalam karya berjudul Ici et ailleurs (1976). 🇵🇸LOKA-LOKA perhimpunan penerjemahan bersama UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta 🇵🇸 Danarto menulis cerpen-cerpen tentang Palestina sejak 1968, ketika ia masih berusia 28 tahun, hingga 2009, ketika usianya hampir genap tujuh dekade. Penerjemahan ini adalah upaya melatih kesetiakawanan kepada bangsa Palestina yang telah dimulai Danarto lebih dari setengah abad lalu.  Selama tiga kali pertemuan, para penerjemah akan berhimpun untuk saling membahas hasil terjemahan masing-masing. Penerjemahan empat cerpen dari kumcer “Dari Yerusalem ke Armageddon” dikerjakan oleh kawan-kawan mahasiswa dengan dampingan para dosen dari program studi Bahasa & Sastra Arab serta program studi Pendidikan Bahasa dan Sastra Indonesia UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta.
