And for our final post, we have yet another new product to tell you about that will be finding its way into independent retailers soon.
Let us introduce the Sarasa R – a rich-colour, retractable gel pen.
Experience writing like never before with deep, saturated colour and smooth gel ink. The water-based dye ink delivers richer blacks and more vibrant hues than traditional pigment-based ink. Available in 14 colours, its 0.4 mm ultra-fine nib ensures clean, precise lines, perfect for journalling, notetaking, illustrations and creative projects. Like the Sarasa Clip, the ink is quick drying and smudge resistant and doesn’t bleed through most surfaces.
Included in today’s National Stationery Week prize is seven vivid-ink colours – pink; red; orange; green; sky blue; blue and black.

Have you discovered our Hi-Mckie double ended permanent marker pen with 2.0/4.0 mm nib sizes yet? A favourite of our brand ambassadors for a while now, they’re commonly used for labelling storage jars and other household and garden items, as well as identifying children’s lunch boxes, drink bottles and various school equipment.
New for 2026 we’ve introduced a slimmer partner – the Mckee extra fine permanent marker. Coming to independent retailers over the next few months, the slimline double-ended Mckee marker is available in nine bold shades with 0.5 and 1.0 mm nibs. Suitable for use on a wide range of surfaces, from glass to plastic, the rapid dry ink is fade-proof and water resistant. It’s also better for the environment too as it’s made from 71% recycled materials.

The Sarasa Clip retractable gel pen range is already a popular choice in Japan where it originates, but new to the UK for 2026, we’re introducing a 0.5, 0.4 AND 0.3 mm option in addition to the 0.7 mm you may have already seen. This fabulous selection of gel ink pens in 20 colours, will be available as loose pens online and in independent retailers, meaning you’ll be able to buy your most commonly used shades more easily.
As part of our National Stationery Week prize, we’re offering colours traditionally used in schools and general everyday activities – black, blue, red, green and purple in the 0.3 and 04 mm size as well as five new colours in the 0.5 mm size.

Sometimes it’s the simple things in life that can be the most rewarding.
Mundane tasks like housework or home maintenance can sometimes feel so overwhelming that we don’t know where to start. A to-do list is a practical solution that breaks chores down into manageable chunks and brings satisfaction when each one is ticked off.
And if the to-do list is created using a smooth and elegant pen that feels good in your hand, then that makes the actual job of writing the list a more pleasant activity.
Introducing bLen, the retractable emulsion ink ballpoint that feels like a gel pen. With an innovative design which provides a smooth vibration-free writing experience, and archival quality ink, bLen is an eco-friendly pen solution (made from 58% recycled materials).
Available with either black or blue ink, and choice of 0.5mm and 0.7mm point sizes, bLen comes in a range of muted barrel colours: white, black, grey, purple, mint green, lilac, baby pink and light blue.
What’s your least favourite to-do list item which would be easier to tick-off with a bLen?

Launched in the UK last summer, the revolutionary CLiCKART range of retractable felt tips is taking the stationery world by storm. Revolutionary because the innovative ‘keep moist’ ink formula absorbs moisture from the atmosphere which prevents the nibs from drying out.* They’re cap-free – all you do is click them closed when you finish! No more lost lids down the back of the sofa or sucked up by the vacuum cleaner! The 12-pack of light colours even comes in its own portable carry tub which makes them super easy to transport for creative projects on the go.
Our fantastic Zebra Pen brand ambassadors were super-fans from day one. “Beautiful shades; opaque ink that colours as smoothly as it writes, and cap-free, so there are no lost lids, says Lois. “It feels like Zebra’s thought of everything!”
Ideal for journalling, colouring and all sorts of design projects, these remarkable felt tips can even be used with water for a stunning watercolour effect.
Tell us, how would you use these?

The Sarasa Clip gel range has always been up there with our Zebra Pen brand ambassadors’ favourites, but until now there have been limited shades available in the UK.
We’re delighted to announce that we’re bringing 20 bright colours to the UK in 2026 giving gel pen fans a wide selection of shades to use in their writing and creative activities. Not only will these 20 colours in varying nib sizes be available to purchase loose in independent retailers, but a 10-pack of assorted shades of the 0.7 mm nib are already available in selected Tesco stores, and a 5-pack in black ink will be on the shelves shortly.
“The black Sarasa Clip has been a pencil case staple for me for years,” enthuses our brand ambassador, Peach “but it’s so thrilling to see such a lovely range of new colours.”
Doodle, colour, draw, write – whatever you do, make it bold and colourful with these smooth non-smearing, archival quality, retractable gel ink pens.
