I can’t even begin to describe or explain how amazing this feels. I just have to say THANK YOU! To my community and State.
As a Peer and Lived Expert I am always finding ways to dismantle stigmas and reduce silos.
Create new ways to improve accessibility to community and always never forgetting where I came from and honoring my family members who have passed away as young people and had system impacts in their life journey and mine.
One of my favorite organizations I had the privilege to work for @theyouthera
Who ignited my purpose when I returned to the Peer space.
@fosterclub and @nfyinstitute who supported foster reform and supported my development efforts.
@jammiegardner ; Thank you for the nomination. ♥️

Advocacy Boot Camp aims to reduce the disparity in political representation for Native women and normalize Native women’s leadership by providing tools, training, and resources to help Native women become better advocates for their communities and see themselves as political leaders, including as candidates for elected office.
This unique Advocacy Boot Camp, is specifically for Native women. Boot Camp participants will build their advocacy skills with workshops covering advocacy basics, communications strategy, and hear from exciting speakers about how you can effect change, both as an advocate and as a candidate for change. This is an exciting opportunity to come together as Native women and envision a future where our strong voices are heard and we have a seat at all tables!
With Senator Claudia Kauffman, Iris Friday, humble Co-Founders of NAN, Native women are able to enhance the beauty, strength, and integrity of American Indian and Alaskan Native communities through personal empowerment and civic participation.

I wanted to reintroduce myself for those who are new here 🤍
Hi, my name is Kiana Kona, creator of KKONA LLC. I’m an indigenous artist and member of the Tulalip tribe. I am originally from the Columbia River Gorge, but in 2021, I moved to the Tulalip Reservation to reconnect with my culture. This is where I began learning cedar weaving at @hibulb and found my true passion.
I’ve recently moved back to the gorge and feel so grateful to be rooted here again. Today, I create handmade jewelry using cedar I sustainably harvest in the Pacific Northwest, along with other materials like salmon skin leather and seashells.
Thank you for your support and for following along my journey 🤍

On June 20 we will host our first Creator’s Game Culture Camp at the Daybreak Star Indian Cultural Center.
This camp is part of our ongoing work to create meaningful cultural opportunities for Native youth through the Creator’s Game. Our goal is to bring youth together for a full day of learning, connection, and community rooted in Indigenous teachings.
The day will include sessions connected to land, language, food, ceremony, and the cultural teachings that surround the game. We’re working to build a program that gives youth hands-on experiences they can carry with them.
As we shape the agenda, we’d love to hear from you.
What sessions would you want to see offered for Native youth?
Pow wow basics
Drum making
Traditional medicines
Food sovereignty
Language
Lacrosse and cultural teachings
Our hope is to offer 4 to 6 sessions throughout the day. Depending on group size, we may create an elective style format so youth can choose what they want to learn.
If you were attending, what class would you want to take? What would you want your kids to learn? What do you wish you had the chance to learn when you were younger?
Drop your ideas in the comments.
Let’s build something meaningful together. Registration is free and opens soon.
