Hey Everyone! I feel like it’s been awhile since I introduced myself and there’s a lot of new homies here!
My name is Jen!
I’m Navajo and was raised on the Navajo Reservation on the border of NM/AZ. I have been knitting for about 9 years now and mix my heritage into each design. I love love traveling and seeing new places, meeting new people, and getting a taste of how others live. A few of my dreams are to write a book, have my own herd of sheep, and buy my dad a sports car😊
What are some of your dreams? I’m big on manifesting and making these dreams realities!

Today is MMIW Day ❤️
National Day of Awareness for Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women and Girls always hits heavy. Thinking about all the women, girls who should still be here—and the families who carry that every day.
I wanted to share a few patterns I have up right now:
🧶 a knit shirt
🧶 a bulky knit scarf
🧶 a knit cowl
If you’ve been wanting to cast something on, this is a way to do it with intention.
I’ll be donating 100% of all MMIW pattern earnings through the month of May to Coalition to Stop Violence Against Native Women to support the work they’re doing in our communities.
Wear red if you can, say their names, and keep paying attention. ❤️

Not to be dramatic, but when you’re injured and people say “at least you can knit” 😅 …like yes, but knitting hits very different when it’s not by choice lol.
But for real — I’m healing ✨ Been stretching my ankle at PT every week and starting to add some light weight bearing 👏🏽
Friends, please stay safe this spring & summer and protect those bones… injury season is NOT the vibe 💀
After wrecking my ankle I thought I’d have to call off my trip to hang with my homies @tsinbikee@edmistoncreations@chelsea.knits.sews.throws - BUT making it happen regardless was just what my brain needed.
Although I had to move at a much slower pace, being a witness to their creations was so life giving. I loved the creativity and honest conversations we had over the weekend! ☺️
Hopefully I’ll get these #dancepants finished soon because I’m soo excited about the way they’re turning out!
The Rodeo collection is almost two years old but feels like I had these photos taken yesterday! Just pulling these up because I love knitting and have so much coming and in the works but can’t share that yet☺️😉
When wearing wool sweaters is your entire personality☺️ I’m living in my Squash Blossom Cardigan by @fahertybrand I have absolutely loved designing with them over the past 3 years!🥹 This cardigan is perfection💛
My husband’s grandma used to make him felted slippers for Christmas when he was a kid 🎄. I wish I’d had more time to know her before she passed—I have a feeling we would’ve been close, bonded by our shared love for him and for crafting. So when I saw the #sailorslipper, I just knew they were meant to be made for him.🥰 I hope everyone is wrapping up and sewing all your ends in before Christmas!🎁
P.s. This was a project that I had to definitely trust the process because they looked hilariously giant😂
Today was so FUN! @tsinbikee were able to hang, laugh, and learn from @winstonpaul.co how to make circle skirts!
Now, I’m pretty clueless when it comes to using a sewing machine, but Calandra explained everything so well and had us smiling and giggling the entire class! 😂
