TIME MACHINE. 12x18 one-color silk screen print. I made this during my recent visit to Burlington, Vermont at @iskraprint using the time-honored tradition of painting with ink on transparency and then exposing it to a screen and then pushing ink through the screen onto paper. If it's about anything it's about the actual magical and transportational powers of music and sound. that sounds about right? small edition, limited number up in the shop now. thank you @sheltercultivationproject and @karmabirdhouse and @vermontartbookfair and @iskraprint I appreciate the generosity and energy of this special place in Vermont.
Buds N' Burds: deep green. deep rose, deep chocolate. one-off color reprint editions now in the online shop for you and for us. “As our bodies break down, the soil we become is rich; composting our old, ever-present anxieties: the need to own, the need to consume, the need to be better. Instead, we are all collectively, gloriously, sinking into the earth together.”
In the short story “Unbecoming,” a fungal invasion transforms a nation into a shared mycelial consciousness, dissolving individuality, capitalism, and loneliness into a collective, euphoric decay that returns humanity to the soil. What happens when me becomes we?

in this house we celebrate bandcamp friday. I have a few things up there that I'd like to talk to you about. 1. NATHANIEL RUSSELL PLAYS AND SINGS (WITH PROJECTIONS) a recording of a performance I did 8 (!) years ago at Hawaii Public Radio as part of a weeklong visit I did to Honolulu that included a 5 day printmaking workshop, an art talk and this. I am open to invitations from institutions to recreate this heavy event combo. 2. SONGS OF a collection of life songs recorded at Betty's in Durham with Amelia Meath (an actual wizard) for Psychic Hotline. Is this one of the things I hold most dear in my life? yes. 3. SUNLIGHT basement 8-track cassette album on which I played everything and wish I'd mixed the bass a little higher because I really got on one a few times. Everyone should make a couple records if they feel like it you will not regret it in fact you will be so glad you did. eternal gratitude to @psychichotline Warm Ratio @lunamusic and Honolulu Printmakers and to you potential listener. I still have some copies of Sunlight stuck away on every format if you want one gimme a dm. Support art and artists and you will feel good.
