From IT support with no experience… to building one of the largest entrepreneurial education platforms in the world. I started Foundr from my bedroom with $2k on a credit card. No audience. No connections. Just relentless hustle, a ton of rejection, and a mission to help others succeed. Today, Foundr has helped over 50,000+ students build real eComm brands. I’ve made every mistake in the book, and I’ll probably keep breaking the rules. But now, I’m sharing it all so you don’t have to learn the hard way. If you’re serious about starting or scaling your eCommerce brand, DM me the word “COACH”. We’ve built an insane network of founders in our coaching and mentorship program, and we’re here to help you win.

She started with no funding, no audience, and no product. And still hit five figures in 60 days. @donna_gilbertson_ built the audience before the product, proved the market with a free survey, skipped the holiday rush on purpose, and sold out in under 24 hours with one bold comment. Your job isn't to be liked. @leilahormozi realized that being the "nice" boss was actually getting in the way of her team's growth. Your role as a leader is to coach. That means having the uncomfortable conversations needed to turn a six into a ten. It’s not personal. It’s about the mission. Comment PODCAST to get full episodes of the Foundr Podcast.

$30M. No outside funding. No retail shortcuts. @mollybsims built a beauty brand that scaled by doing the unglamorous work first. Treating her audience like an asset. Running her operations like a machine. And knowing exactly when not to move. The full episode is a masterclass for anyone building a product business. Comment PODCAST to get the new episode.

@nathanchan was stuck in a Melbourne IT support job, frustrated and unfulfilled, when he decided to do something about it. In 2013 he launched @foundr as a digital magazine for young entrepreneurs, running it as a side hustle. The first name got him sued for trademark infringement. He rebranded to Foundr, quit his job 14 months in, and never looked back. What started as a magazine became a two-part media and education business. Chan has interviewed over 500 founders including Richard Branson, Arianna Huffington, Mark Cuban, and Tim Ferriss. Foundr now runs a global podcast, content blog, and 10+ premium courses taught by top operators. The brand grew to millions of followers on Instagram alone, reshaping how digital publishing monetises. Nathan also co-founded Healthish, a water bottle D2C brand with his ex-partner Emily. Starting capital was ~$10,000, including a $3,000 domain. It scaled to a seven-figure ecommerce business before he exited. Today he mentors founders on launching standout ecommerce brands. His playbook is simple. Consistency outlasts hype. Read more at #EntrepreneurNews #NathanChan #Foundr #Ecommerce #FounderJourney

Top 5 Canton Fair hacks for 2026 👇 1. Day 1 gather all your info, Day 2 start your negotiations: It’s very hard to negotiate price and MOQ without having multiple suppliers to compare against and leverage against each other so Day 1 should be for understanding the price and MOQ and then you can negotiate from a position of knowledge on Day 2. 2. Relationships > Transactions: The best suppliers come from trust rather than transactions. The deeper the relationship the better that trust. With a solid supplier relationship you can get better prices, credit terms, new items offered to you and your items pushed to the front of the production schedule. Treat your supplier as a partner in your business not a transaction. 3. A lot of new innovations - have suppliers sign Exclusivity Agreements: You’ll find a lot of new products at the Canton Fair. Speed to market and being first to market can make or break the success of the product. In order to have more defensibility, have your supplier give you exclusivity on that product. This can be exclusivity by time, QTY or region. 4. Only work with suppliers who have the proper certifications: It’s so important not to have any quality issues with your product or with your factory. Therefore, you should only select factories which have all the necessary certification already so they are competent in making your item and won’t be learning through you. 5. Test product quality on the spot - Use it. Stress it. Break it: You have to be the toughest critic of your product, you have to test it for it’s purpose and find out the breakage point so you can be happy and confident you won’t be getting returns from your customers due to quality issues. #cantonfair #sourcing

Most founders trade their brand equity for a quick retail win. @selkirksport built a $200M empire by doing the opposite. They scaled through local tournaments and kept their marketing internal to protect their vision. Scaling isn’t about the easiest path. It’s about the one you own. You don’t need a master plan to build an empire. @brittney_saunders didn’t start @faytlabel with a 10-year vision. She was just an entrepreneur who refused to stop trying. The secret wasn't a 50-page business plan. It was the community. The product is the variable. The audience is the power. Comment PODCAST for the full interview link.
