Lately I been questioning who I am, who I ought to be, and why I am how I am. That isn’t an overnight type of journey, but one thing that I haven’t doubted is my love for film.
With that said, I know I’m a filmmaker and here is my latest film which premiered at the Atlanta Film Festival. This was a film idea conceived and executed, within one week, with a talented and amazing team.

Season 4 of KTL has been amazing and an unique rollercoaster of emotions. Season 4 will always be special because it’s when I got to live out my deep passion to make film.

Film Name - Unsaid
I felt uneasy about this project because I normally focus on dialogue to deliver the message. But I got married to the idea and hoped the message I wanted could be delivered in a nuance manner.
The film represents lovers unable to communicate their true feelings, the emotion underneath the anger that often goes unsaid because we are wild creatures at heart and sometimes instinct takes over. This idea would not exist without the talented group of people that trusted me enough to do the idea, even though it seemed weird when I explained it lol

Exactly Five Days to Submit and It Must Be a Music Video
A late post. This was another attempt at directing a music video. I really enjoyed making this due to the process and the cast / crew were awesome.
I like the song so coming up with a concept that I felt was a playful interpretation of the lyrics was dope. It took so long posting because I’m still trying to develop a handle on color grading. This is longer than the standard minute allowed in KTL. I just wanted to add more in this upload.

Four Exact Video Files in the Making of Your Film & Make It a Music Video
Film Name - Apartment Hellhound
Quite the ambitious project, especially for the challenge’s parameters, so much that this version is the director’s cut. Too much was filmed, however good has come from it. I plan for there to be more installments, so stay tune.
Lastly, I took the opportunity of practicing my color grading with this cut. A tough skill, but I’m interested enough to get better at it.

Exactly 6 Days to Film & All Shots Must Be Filmed On A Phone.
This challenge was issued sometime ago and life took me for a spin, hence why I’m just posting it. However!
I want to say, the blueprint to this short originally began with many ideas, difficult desired shots, and a bit of confusion on how to approach it. BUT! The TALENTED and BEAUTIFUL HUMAN!! Edi Tingles was truly a rock and partner in the making of it. Her performance and suggestions were so strong, I scraped a great deal of what we filmed and produced what you see here. Which I dare say, feels powerful to watch.

Very ambitious short for me regarding the different elements of production I included this time, so really glad it turned it great!

I titled this film Sitting With Love. The film is about missed opportunities of capturing love when you don’t actively seek and attempt to capture it. Being hesitant only guarantees love will flee. Hopefully that message was properly conveyed well enough! #ktl30r
