🎬I never made something that I actually happy cried at while watching the final edit, until this weekend. HERE IT IS!! 😲** My latest project, THE WEIGHT OF MERCY!! This was originally made as a one minute film for the social film group, Kick the Ladder in Atlanta, GA last week. However, we got such great content, I cut into two! This week, our rules were exactly three props and the camera could not move more than 10 feet from a single point. It's amazing what you can produce with a one-page script in just a few hours, in one night!!
Thank you SO much to my amazing team (some I met that night!) They killed it!! It's so important to have a team you fully trust and I can't thank them enough for dedicating their time and efforts!! 🥰😍💯
Also, thank you to everyone for your support! I was so happy with the audience reaction when it screened. I'm really liking making things in the horror/suspense genre. Happy Official Adoption Day to my very own fur-son!! He is the best birthday gift I got myself 🍰🥳!! His government name is Tyson (a.k.a. Tycie McSpicey)…for now lol. Was DP (Director of Photography) for an amazing and hilarious short called "Slumber Party" by my dear friend and amazing artist, @rikkihagerty (r.i.p 💜). This is one of the projects I'm most proud of. It challenged me to light in new ways and I finally got to work with some phenomenal actors/women comedians whos work just blows me away.
