I have taught through a global pandemic, I've moved a bookshelf in front of my classroom door during a lock down, I've done everything I possibly can to keep my students safe every single day. In the last week less than half of my students have been able to come to school. I just got told a field trip I organized for our kids to go ice fishing is canceled because too many schools had to back out due to fears. Our federal government is keeping kids out of school. Anyone who justifies or belittles this is sick. Fuck 🧊
Got a surprise call today that filled my heart with so much joy 🇻🇺 This is the first time I've been able to connect with my family in Vanuatu over the internet, much less get a live glimpse of Nguna Island. With everything going on here, this was dearly appreciated.
