Täna esietendub Rootsi kunstniku, koreograafi ja etendaja Erik Valentin Bergi mitmeosaline lavastus “SPORT”.
Andrius Mulokase ning Nadja Voorhamiga koostöös sündinud lavastuse kahes osas, “Il Genio” ja “Perfekt”, töötatakse sportlaseks olemise sotsioloogia, psühholoogia ja koreograafiaga – kuidas nii sportlased kui ka etendajad loovad oma tööga kindlat tüüpi kehasid, liigutusi ja harjumusi.
“SPORT” on intrigeeriv lavastus, mis tundub justkui lähivõttena sportlasest – suurte ootustega toime tulemisest ning psühholoogilisest pingest, õnnetoovate rituaalide loomisest, andele pühendumisest, ning mitte kaotajaks jäämisega kaasnevast kergendustundest. Samas on need tunded tuttavad teistelegi peale professionaalsete sportlaste.

Today premieres the multi-part performance “SPORT” by Swedish artist, choreographer and performer Erik Valentin Berg.
The two parts of the series, “Il Genio” and “Perfekt”, created in collaboration with Andrius Mulokas and Nadja Voorham, explore the sociology, psychology and choreography of the athlete – how both athletes and performers produce particular types of bodies, movements, and habits through their work.
“SPORT” is an intriguing performance that feels like an intimate close-up shot of an athlete – handling an immense amount of psychological pressure, coming up with personal rituals to set the mind right, devotion to talent, and feeling relieved for not losing. At the same time, it’s not just professional athletes who resonate with this.

𝘐 𝘊𝘢𝘭𝘭 𝘠𝘰𝘶𝘳 𝘕𝘢𝘮𝘦 𝘢𝘯𝘥 𝘐𝘵 𝘙𝘪𝘯𝘨𝘴 𝘪𝘯 𝘔𝘺 𝘌𝘢𝘳 𝘢𝘴 𝘔𝘺 𝘖𝘸𝘯 is a performance that uses dusk as a landscape to move through and as a state of mind. In a crisp and instant space, a vacuum, one distinct character is seemingly recuperating a memory or creating a new one. She is both the hunter and hunted, the observer and observed, the one eating and the one getting eaten, the shadow in the forest and the one hiding from it.
