“Nancy VanReece is celebrating 40 years in Nashville this year. During her time in Music City, she’s been known for many different things: owning a label, working at BMI, serving on nonprofit boards, being an advocate for women’s sports, the list goes on. But in all of her roles, she was guided by the belief that Nashville at its best is creative, collaborative, diverse, and grounded in community. This year, VanReece was named president and CEO of Nashville’s new professional women’s basketball league, UpShot Nashville.”
