Four years ago I bought this house in Nashville sight unseen. It was an investment of money, faith, and sweaty equity right from the jump.
I’ve learned more about home renovation and DIWHY than I ever asked to, glulam, pex, joinery, GFCI, things I can’t unlearn and can’t unsee. And somewhere in the middle of all of it, I learned what pride in homeownership actually looks and feels like. Turns out it hits different when you’ve earned it the hard way.
But none of it means anything without the people who showed up, talked me off ledges, rolled up their sleeves and were with me through the hardest moments. @rybakstevo , @mpruce26 & Dave, @glryder_27 & @cr533 , @mr.scottyc & @erica.stevens.realtor I’m so grateful for you all. Truly.
Happy Anniversary Casa Cowboy. Four years in and I can finally just enjoy this place. And I plan to. Here’s to smoking dubes in this house for a very long time.
