My key art posters (2!) for the Housemaid. This title has consumed this whole year, and these represent two of many hundreds of attempts to visually represent this unicorn of a film. So many talented people did work for us on this, honored to work with them all and gobsmacked that some posters I made for character banners were plucked out and chosen as the key art (not by me!)

Slide 3 is the elaborate, detailed concept sketch (still do thumbnails!) Slides 4-6 are type inspo for that vintage noir wink and hand lettered type (that has made breakouts and international more of a pain but cuter imo)
Every movie says this- but this is one to see in a theater with a crowd- it is salacious and twisty and fun and seeing it with people who gasp and laugh and squirm all together. I have watched it alone a few times and in a theater and there is no comparing- the crowd is the way to go. In theaters December 19
I started on this project just wanting to be on a call with Sofia Coppola and stay off camera (but was then introduced as the print lead and got to talk to her 💕)
This film is the first from Andrew Durham whose photography I had long admired before getting to work with him on this. Fairyland is a beautiful story that at its core is about love existing in tandem with all of our human flaws. Scoot McNairy is incredible, both actors that played child and adult Alicia are fantastic. The memoir this is based on is also really amazing.
I spent many nights and weekends on dozens of options for this. Ultimately we landed on a composite meant to represent one of the gorgeous moments in the film. I am really grateful to have been able to work on this one.

You all should be proud of me that I only embarrassed myself once in the room with this man. I am a professional, an artist who is there to ensure that we get the assets that we need- the poses and expressions to create our art with.
But he is Italian! And has an accent, and talks Italian to his assistant. And looks like THIS! And is charming af.
So I may have “jokingly” said “call me!” When he was leaving our shoot 😍

It was humbling as a human woman to be in the same room as her and Sydney Sweeney. I wish we were releasing every flawless frame of this shoot.

In January I went to the east coast for a shoot for The Housemaid. One of the concepts that we had was a fantastic idea that my insanely creative boss @_itslils_ had- the talent standing in a cross section of a dollhouse prop from the film.
We had the inimitable @robertascroft and his super team photographing the talent. We had some time to do plates of props and when they lit and shot the dollhouse- these mad geniuses decided perfection could only be obtained by lighting and shooting each room individually- with such granular detail that- when he was later describing to me how to seam it all together, we decided he was the man for the job! He created this poster and I think it’s the only piece on my grid that I didn’t make.
Posting it here bc I adore it so much, and it is paired with the character banners that I did make (Sydney Sweeney’s on slide 2).
It was an amazing trip (slides 3/4 show the New Jersey saint portrait over my hotel bed), a fantastic shoot, and our introduction to our new favorite photographer/poster designer (thanks, Robert!)

Character socials for #thebestchristmaspageantevermovie. It was so fantastic to get to have a photoshoot with this cast. These kids are STARS, and had so much energy and ease and chemistry with each other. Judy Greer is fantastic, Pete Holmes was great, in a perfect world we would have used nearly every image from the shoot, but stoked we got to use as many as we did.

I may have put more hours in on this title than any other project ever. Piles of comps, many multiples of revs on my and agency work, t-shirt designs, photo booth physical and digital backgrounds, tote bag, many revs to products, whoopie cushions, digital units, etc etc. This is the one poster that made it into the world along with a similar coloring sheet. This was so fun and even after nearly a year on it, I will miss working on images of the kids, Christmas colors and our hero font Bookmania 💕

Missed posting this on the grid somehow. Two posters I did that were released for the film Continue. One of my favorite things about being at my job is getting to meet and work closely with filmmakers. Nadine Crocker is a fiercely talented triple treat (writer, director, actor) who brought her deeply personal story of surviving a suicide attempt and living through her darkest days to the screen.

Well this is me being late to the party. I made this title treatment while at @refinedcreative in I think 2017 or 2018, and the I thought it was never used. I googled the country Madagascar today and stumbled on it in the world on cute key art (by an agency called @thearterie_ says imp). I guess the show came out in 2020, which explains how I missed it.
I also made two fonts for this project so that the subtitle could be localized. That was an adventure bc I had to letter everything and then figure out how to make a font 🤪
