Since 2013, City Farm SLO has stewarded 19 acres of the Calle Joaquin Agricultural Reserve through organic agriculture. Thirteen acres are subleased to small-scale independent farmers, while the remaining land is regeneratively farmed through powerful youth education programs.
Their mission is to empower the next generation to live healthier, more prosperous lives through sustainable agriculture and hands-on farm education.
And yes… we also got to hold 4-day-old lambs. 🐑🌱
